Inspired by women who work in the sewing industry and using techniques
and symbols drawn from different cultures, this series of installations looks at
the invisible femininity which exists between dressing and looking, hiding
and seeking, sensuality and the human form.

Taking place alongside the exhibition was a performance of  AUTOMATIC CROSS STITCH , a slide and poetry work researched and performed in collaboration with the poet Frances Presley.
